FSS Jinx review

There is a ton of Joe News out there right now, and a lot to be excited about. Even though I didn’t get the club’s FSS, i did have the chance to get the JINX figure that put as a single on their website. I’ve been slow to get the review up, but finally i’m able to present her. Similar to her VVV figure, this Jinx isn’t just a red ninja in pajamas, she is a battle ready Arashakage Ninja Assassin.

her leg holster is a bit awkward . it's a little too long to appear practical. It would prevent her from sitting in lots of vehicles.

Detail is great, as you can see their is paint on the blade, painted straps on the sword, and of course the dragon logo.

she is taller, than i would like. The extra height is i her neck, and her lower legs. The neck is also off color from her face. I think I can easily fix the height with some work on his lower legs.

the blindfold is removable and the head underneath is based on, but not a copy of the VVV head.

From this pic you can see that the paint in her is not perfect, i do not know how common this is, but since it's black it's easy to fix. Also this knife is not removable.

Here is a comparision shot with my customized VVV Jinx. I have no idea where her hands went, , or how her crotch broke. But i'm happy with the dragon, cloth, and hair pins i added.

I am glad i don't have to use the parts pictured to finally finish my Jinx custom. Very pleased with what the club gave us. They did i wise think in toning down and ditching most of the yellow.

Articulation is good, the added wrist articulation would have been nice but she is based off the canceled city strike scarlet which did not have it.   Very few figures are worth 30 + to me, but this one was. It calls back the exciting VVV time, which while the figures had issues, the updated designs were welcome, and in some ways a precursor to fan favorite POC. Its a Jinx that is battle ready, a rare female figure, and has a much better unmasked head than the SDCC JINX imo.

I would rate this 9.5/10 she is about as close to perfection as you can get.
