Pulling some TLS Blind Boxes, then talking about them.

If you haven’t figured it out by now, I’m a huge fan of The Loyal Subjects and TMNT is a a shared interest between me and my son. This time the little guy was in trouble, so I pulled and discussed two blind boxes by myself. Enjoy in the video below. If you dig what you see, keep reading below the video! PART 1: The Loyal Subjects has become one of my favorite companies and that’s probably obvious by now! The latest batch of new images has me excited. The black Friday sale means an amazing Pre-Sale price, 40% off of these items that were just revealed, and most of them are must buy’s for me! Some of them I know I will have to get more than one of! Where do I start? Brand by Brand, Pic by Pic, I wanted to provide some commentary on each image!

Glow in the Dark He-Man makes the silver become Glow in the Dark. The Power Sword will look great pointing towards the sky glowing in a dark room. It also features mini comic inspired Axe and Shield combo. This means you get to have your He-man how you want him ! Mine will probably go Sword and Board style, like a rpg tank.

Those eyes look like creepy as heck. I’m looking forward to seeing how well these translate into the paint masks used on the factory produced figures. They really remind me of something from Zelda, like those pesky statues with an eye that shoot lasers at poor Link.

Joe Allard let us know that the plan is to go with Orange glow in the dark for this one. His design his awesome and I think a new GID color is a perfect way to spice this fig up! (although the green face would look good in traditional GID too.)

Clutch was revealed via Nerdrahtio on time while I was behind on editing,this podcast should have come along with it. Expected to be open window boxed or classic closed box , but obviously won’t be a blind box.

Want to get a non chase Baroness? Will red or blue do ?

No official announcements, but keep an ear out for Thundercats as it is a very strong possibility. (Update, thundercats ARE happening!)

Due to licensing TLS does not have the rights to do vehicles for TMNT and it’s not likely they can do playsets either. Tell playmates you want them to be allowed to!

Upcoming figs are designed to be workable with their vehicles and animals, and while it may not be true for the turtles you should be able to get a Joe on battlecat or he-man in your vamp.

Power Ranger wave 2 will still be MMPR, still working on how to get the individual zords to combine!

BONUS UPDATE: Jonathan Cathey has confirmed Street Fighter will have knee articulation and “be like Joe”

We interviewed him awhile back HERE but Hot Topic has a short video interview you should check out below. It has some great clips from their Transformers vs. Joe webisodes.

I can honestly say that Jonathan is legit. The company gives artists a lot of credit, he shares the credit, brags on others, lifts others up rather than puts them down, owns his mistakes, listens to fans, and clearly has passion. I have a couple of favorite small companies out there, but it’s very easy to root for TLS.

The Loyal Subjects TMNT Donatello and Karai review

lsdonnie Donatello was the first blind box pull from the Loyal Subjects and Karai was the second. We have already posted the youtube videos of the blind box opening with the kiddo, but now I have a video of just me doing a review of these two excellent figures.

The Dish on the upcoming SDCC and Hastings The Loyal Subjects Action Vinyls exclusives (TMNT, Transformers, Power Rangers)

The Loyal Subjects Official Facebook group has revealed a ton of images of the upcoming Exclusives in their action vinyls lines. (CLICK THAT AND JOIN FOLKS, it’s full of great stuff and gets news first, it’s closed for those of us who don’t like public groups too!)

First up lets look at their pile of SDCC Loot (minus one turtle set)

Metalic Rita and Pink ranger, Yellow Constructicons, Buzzsaw and transparent frenzy, an opened package TF and 3 rangers, and not just the TMNT box set shown (that’s battle damaged) but another one too !

Winner of the SDCC stuff in my mind. May actually be my favorite exclusive from the entire show this year.
